Tech. News: Light Speed Super computers might be possible three years from now according to University of Utah Researchers.

Researchers from The University of Utah claim that they in three years from now they could have super computers working at the speed of light after which other computers and mobile devices will follow up.

A research group in the university which is called Menon Research Group which is led by an Associate Professor Rajesh  Menon whose area of specialization is in the intersection of nanotechnology and optics, and the commercialization of it's work has a good track.

One of it's latest creation is an ultra-compact beam-splitter on top of a silicon chip which divides light waves into separate channels. This creation was also made possible to enable  light transmission of data between networked computers, instead of electrons.
